Features to know about

Stay Level Under Heavy Loads: 8,600-lb Suspension Support

Heavy trailers and bed loads can make the rear of your truck squat and your steering feel light. The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 8,600 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your truck level when you’re towing or hauling. The hollow rubber springs mount above the rear axle and step in only when the weight demands it, holding the back end steady so your braking, steering, and headlight aim stay right where they should.

Smooth Out the Ride: Progressive Hollow Rubber Springs

Rough roads and jobsite bumps don’t have to beat up your suspension. These Aeon hollow rubber springs compress in stages—soft at first for small bumps, then firmer as the load increases. That progressive action absorbs road shock and cushions impact while protecting your factory leaf springs from bottoming out. The result is a smoother, more controlled ride no matter how much gear you’re carrying.

Stay Steady in Crosswinds and Turns: Independent Spring Action

When a heavy load shifts or a strong gust hits, these springs work independently on each side to keep the truck planted. That side-to-side action helps control sway and body roll during cornering or lane changes. The extra stability keeps both truck and trailer tracking straight even when the road throws surprises your way.

Install It Once and Forget It: Simple, No-Drill Mounting

Adding serious rear support doesn’t have to mean an all-day install. This kit bolts directly to the frame using custom brackets—no drilling required. Each set includes two hollow rubber springs, brackets, and mounting hardware for a quick setup that fits cleanly above the axle. Once installed, there’s nothing to adjust or maintain; the springs automatically engage when weight is applied and stay quiet when empty.

Built to Last Through Years of Hauling

Timbren’s heavy-duty rubber construction is made for trucks that work hard every day. The material resists wear, stands up to constant load cycles, and won’t leak or deflate over time. Backed by a lifetime warranty and satisfaction guarantee, this is a one-time upgrade that keeps your rig level, stable, and ready for the next haul.

The order came promptly and was delivered in perfect condition. As indicated by others, they were easy to install and I installed them in twenty minutes. One of your other customers stated if you jack up the rear of your truck you can work over the rear tires without having to crawl under the truck. It worked perfectly! The pictures are of jacking up the truck, working over the tires, and final installation.

They did exactly as advertised. Reduced bed travel downward when hooking up and maintained a good ride.

Its been great. Helps to handle the weight of my fifth wheel in the bed. Adds just enough height to clear the tool box without a lot of increased stiff ride when not towing the trailer.

@LeonardS That's great to hear! What kind of 5th wheel are you towing?

by:

Easy install. Work as advertised. Two thumbs up.

by:

So easy to install on 2019 F350 SD Dually. just lift the back an inch by the hitch and can work right over the tires. no need to get dirty under the truck. I only drop 1.5 inches with my current fifth wheel, so these will just come into service when i load then family. Installed in less than 30 minutes.

by:

These keep my truck level with my slide in camper on board. It no longer rests on the helper springs. I have gained over 2” of height on the bed. Super easy to install. They also are noticeable on corners. Not nearly as much lean.

by:

Great product! I had some body sway, and a little sag when loaded heavy in my F350. I have a steel flat bed so my pickups not empty when empty, these fixed my issue of it being squishy till the factory overloads kicked in.

Made the ride solid and firm, exactly what I was looking for. Makes corners great again for a heavy duty pickup, only thing a person may want to consider is if you have a heavy bed or loaded with tools, you’ll have to pick up the rear end to unload the springs enough to slip the timbren in.

Cant wait to get hooked up to the Rv and our dump trailer and see how much better it trailers, especially since it exceeded my expectations empty.

by:

Product arrived within a few days of ordering. Simple to install

After one year of use I am very happy. Easy to install; took 30 minutes at most. Levels truck and improves loaded ride. No change in unloaded ride.

Still love them! They level the truck and reduce jounce under load, but do not affect unloaded ride.

by:

The merchandise package was missing parts and looks like they just throw things in there

by:

I called etrailer, Madison answered the phone took my order. I was leaving for a cross country trip in 5 days, etrailer shipped them right away. I had them in time for my trip, I installed them with no issue, left out on my trip with a 24' enclosed trailer loaded full. Timbren stabilized the truck and reduced sag on my F-350. Rough roads on I-40 we're terrible, but Timbren reduced the shock of the rough roads. I am very happy with the Timbren Suspension Enhancment system.

by:

Haven’t tested them with a load yet, so no opinion on performance yet.

Took more than the 15min I’ve seen posted in places. Not difficult, just hard to get to under my ‘22 F350 DRW. After opening the box, I noted that one of the rubber springs had a flat washer inside (which seems like a good idea to distribute force over a larger area). The other rubber springs did not have a flat washer installed in it (nor was it anywhere in the box). I had one in my garage so it didn’t stop my install, but for the price on these, I expect all the parts to be there.

Taking my first trip with them installed next week, so will see how they perform.

by:

Took about 45 minutes to install. But that was 2 trips into the house cause my deep drive sockets were buried. F-350 gasser with 8’ box, Fiberglas cap, 200lb wooden storage drawers and estimated 400lbs in tools. I tow a 14k bumper pull dump that squats the truck. I installed the spacer with the timbrens and it sits on the original axle stop. Ride quality is unknown as I haven’t driven it yet.

Still work great. Also tow a 24’ bumper pull camper. Timbrens definitely help. Selling this truck. I pulled the Timbrens and will be giving them to a friend that tows. I plan to get a set for the next truck. No complaints on function or ride quality.

by:

Completely satisfied!! I have a 2020 F350 and haul a 41’ 5th wheel. I have noticed a bit of sag and decided on these as a quick fi based on others reviews. I installed them with the additional included puck and immediately noticed a huge difference towing. When I hit an unexpected bump it just glides over super smooth. Can’t recommend these enough.

by:

For the money it does a good job. My 5th Wheel is level and travels down the road quite well.

I really like the Timbren product. It keeps our 38’ Fifth Wheel level and tracks well going down the highway. Very pleased.

by:

Product was easy to install, 1/2 hr taking my time. Used a open end wrench and floor jack. My 2018 F350 Super Duty Super Cab 4wd no longer plunges over bumps, it has lost all its rear end sway on turning, carries my load much smoother ( loaded all the time ). Even with the load I always carry, the vehicle sits 1” higher in the rear. Prior to the install I was constantly hitting the rubber stops on my factory overload springs.

Excellent! I have since purchased another set from you for a 2019 F350 diesel. These things are just the ticket! The ride and handling is so much better!

by:

Good stops rear end sag and sway only thing is the bump stop end on axle is rounded they should make the Timbren rounded for the new Ford F350 other than that it works fine and does exactly what my old set that I had on my 2006Dodgeram 2500 did for me good stuff Aloha

by:

Bought a new F350 with plenty of weight capacity. Hooked up our 3 horse gooseneck, and had so much sag and front end lift that my wife refused to even consider driving it any distance. Put these on and she's happy now. Took all of 30 minutes to install.

by:

Did not change the ride when empty but, really helped when loaded. I pull a 40'gooseneck behind my F350, made a world of difference. Before the ride was so bad, I was going to update to an air ride trailer. Now it's good, it's still a truck and trailer. Easy to install, 30 minutes.

by:

I purchased these to install on my 2024 Ford F350 SRW. They did not line up with the center of the saddle and would bulge out when under load. I contacted Timbren customer service and they provided me with a set off offset adapters.

When my four year old air bags failed I had to find a product that was going to be more reliable. The Timbren SES fit the bill. Very easy to install and no fiddling with the right air pressure for the load. Pulled our fifth wheel yesterday and was very happy with the way unit handled under load. My personal experience has been very positive.

Glad to hear they are working well for you, Nancy! How are they when you aren't towing? We do hear they can be on the harsh side when hitting large potholes and bumps.

by:

Shipped fast, took about 10 minutes to install, and 20 minutes to go the parts store to buy a 15mm deep well that was missing from my tools lol. Haven't had it under much load yet, but so far, the little bit I have has been good. Will be testing later this week with a skid loader trailer and forklift.

I haul a 42 foot 5th wheel RV and these on my truck and they have helped quite a lot with the dolphining bounce on some road ways. I'm pretty happy with them and would recommend them.

Brian profile picture

Brian

5/25/2026

Its been very helpful with the bouncing hauling my 5th wheel camper. The worst was the dolphining affect at bridge abutments. It hasnt totally eliminated it but has helped considerably. Short of an airbag system, I would recommend these.

by:

These are a fantastic alternative to an airbag system to reduce rear axel squat. I have them on my 2023 F350 SRW 7.3L gas short bed truck and tow a 19,000 GVWR Momentum toy hauler with a pin weight of about 3300 lbs +\- (hitch is goosebox with offset ball). I have very minimal squat with these, and the ride is very smooth. When not towing and with an empty bed the ride is a little stiffer/bumpier, but I don’t find it bothersome. Overall, I find them a great investment that took 10 min max to install and require no maintenance. Of note, I also had them when we had a 38’ bumper pull travel trailer with the same impressive results.

by:

I installed these on three different trucks in a year, a 24 F350 CCLB Gas SRW to use with a smaller 9.6 Northern Lite truck camper, but decided I wanted to step up to a DRW, as I bought Northern Lite 10-2 instead. I traded that SRW and put these on a new 24 F350 diesel dually. Took that truck and 4000lb camper coast to coast and back. This year I traded that 24 F350 on a 25 F450. The Timbrens needed a 1" spacer for the F450, as the spring blocks are different. I called Timbren, and they sent me the spacers and longer bolts free of charge. Three trips so far this year with the truck camper on the F450. Couldn't be happier with the Timbrens. They have about 3/4" space when not loaded, so there is free spring movement, and they help with sway and level when loaded. I also added overload spring blocks of my own making, similar to the ones Timbrens sells.

A year later, the Timbrens are still on my F450. A coast to coast trip in July and several other camping trips carrying our Northern Lite 10-2. Couldnt be happier with my set up. If youre looking at Trucks, I recommend the F450. Bigger brakes and commercial tires. The turn radius alone will sell you

  • Will Adding Timbrens to My Ford F-350 Super Duty Help with the Chucking When Towing 5th Wheel?
Hello Bruce, Great question. The correct Timbren kit for your 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty is the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - Rear Axle # TFR350SDJ. This fits both 2WD and 4WD models. Timbrens replace your factory bump stops with a progressive rubber spring. They engage as the suspension compresses under load and can help reduce rear-end squat when towing. If your truck is squatting and the trailer is riding nose-high, that can sometimes contribute to ride issues. In that...

  • Will Timbren Suspension Enhancement Affect Onboard Scales System On 2026 Ford F-350?
Hello John, thanks for reaching out, and congrats on the new truck. Yes, the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TFR350SDJ will affect the onboard scales on your 2026 Ford F350. The system operates by reading how level the back of your truck is. It will still work for lighter loads but anything that makes you sag to the point the Timbrens engage won't be accurate. Do you use the onboard scales a lot. What kind of trailer will you be towing?

SumoSprings have two mounting points that only come together when a heavy load is placed on them.
